"Ashraful Islam is a Hydraulic Engineer with 18 years of experience in numerical and physical modeling of water flow and sediment transport processes. He specializes in the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models for evaluating complex hydrodynamics of pump stations, water storage reservoirs, spillways for hydroelectric and irrigation dams, fish passages of hydroelectric dams, etc.; thermal stratification of water storage reservoirs; and mixing characteristics of water storage facilities. He has experience in the use of hydrodynamic models to study the flow circulation, water quality, and sediment transport in coastal water bodies using the EFDC model. He is an expert in the hydraulic transient analysis of closed conduit systems. Dr. Islam also has experience in the applications of GIS and several hydrologic analysis models such as EPA SWMM."

"Rubayet Mortuza is a water resources engineer with over 10 years of teaching and consulting experience in hydro-climatologic modeling. He has a Ph.D., in civil and environmental engineering from Washington State University and was a faculty member at WSU before joining RIE. Rubayet has been applying both data-driven and conceptual hydrologic models for simulating precipitation and runoff for flood and drought risk analysis and impact analysis of climate change. He has experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, MODFLOW, SRH-2D, and ARC-GIS. His background also includes leveraging data-driven insights, developing advanced machine learning models and utilizing simulation techniques to inform decision-making processes. Apart from engineering modeling he has expertise in data analytics and visualization tools like Python and R programming to interpret temporal and spatial aspects of complex datasets. He has already shown his mastery in data analysis and data visualization in our project in very innovative and efficient ways. Rubayet loves photography and spending time with the family."
